China delivers Yaogan 15 to Orbit
Just three short days after launching the military Chinasat 2A Payload via a Long March 3B Rocket from Xichang, China has orbited another spacecraft for its Yaogan Remote Sensing Satellite Fleet. Space Shuttle Retirement:
Endeavour's Final Power-Down; Enterprise Demate at JFK After being delivered to New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport on March 27 and waiting for two weeks inside a hangar, Space Shuttle Enterprise was demated from the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft on Saturday, May 13. Operations were in progress overnight and finished early Sunday morning, local time. Atlantis & Endeavour undergoing MPS Component Removal Space Shuttle Retirement Operations are progressing inside Kennedy Space Center’s Orbiter Processing Facility where Atlantis and Endeavour are being readied for going on permanent display later this year.
