Automated Transfer Vehicle 3 will be ESA’s third International Space Station Resupply Mission. Launching in March 2012 and Docking to ISS, ATV will deliver almost 7,000 Kilograms of Cargo (Dry Cargo; Oxygen; Fuel). While docked with ISS, the Vehicle provides regular Reboosts to maintain the Station’s Operational Altitude. Also, ISS Attitude Control will be handled with ATV. The Mission was named after famous Italian Scientist Edoardo Amaldi. ATV3 will remain in space for about 6 months.
